Absolutely has the best and coldest Carlton Draught on tap in all of Victoria. Awesome atmosphere, just love the bar with all the Murry Crays and Murry Cod Trophies, and the timber bar is just so good to lean on while downing a few Beers. I will be back again and again. Iv’e been going here every year for the last 6 years with mates from Melbourne and will be back again on the 17th July 2015. Cheers to the Barmah Hotel!

We had a excellent stay here while conducting ecological fieldwork in the nearby Barmah–Millewa Forest. John the publican was fantastic, making us feel incredibly welcome while waking up very early each day to organise breakfast. The pub itself is very much alive with a classic small-town atmosphere, and the parmigiana were some of the best in the Murray. Highly recommended!
Room Tip: All rooms were clean and neat, and located just meters from the pub/restaurant

Second time we have stayed here as part of a fishing trip. Good country pub, fills all the requirements. The food it very good, the beer cold and nice relaxed atmosphere. Only complaint is the meals are far too big. The beef Parma, chips and salad would feed half a footy team. Marlo hotel (Gippsland) does half meals at 75% of the full price which works really for old folks like me. Part of the charm of this place is that retains the Aussie tradition of the Friday meal raffle to support local services. The meat trays are great.

Arrived late in town but stayed open while we made our way across from our nearby accommodation on a quiet night. Hearty country pub meals and good crisp beer. Certainly worth a look in when next we come this way.

We visited the Barmah hotel today for lunch with the kids. It was a cold day and we were welcomed with a warm heater and friendly face. From the moment we walked in it felt like we were walking into a family home. The food was awesome, the whole family was full and content.
